Man missing at sea for 66 days says he survived on pancakes

A man who went missing at sea more than two months ago was rescued from his capsized sailboat off the North Carolina coast on Thursday. He claims he survived on pancakes, rainwater and fish


The crew of a German container ship spotted Louis Jordan sitting on his overturned boat, the 35-foot Angel, 66 days after his family reported the 37 year old missing in January.



A Coast Guard helicopter crew from North Carolina airlifted Jordan from the ship to a hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, on Thursday night. He had a shoulder injury and was dehydrated, the Coast Guard and his family said. Read more...
