Tiger Woods may have a long way to go before he reclaims his crown as the world's best golfer, but he took a baby step in Thursday's opening round of the WGC Bridgestone Classic as he shot a two-under par score of 68.
Tiger will try to advance further up the ladder when he tees off Friday in the second round at 10:30 a.m. ET. Woods and the rest of the field will try to chase down leader Marc Leishman, who fired a six-under 64 in the first round.
If Tiger can show just a bit of improvement with his driver, he could make a decent run at defending the title he won last year at the Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
We'll be here to follow every step of his round.
