Winning isn't everything, and Rhode Island coach Dave Belisle wanted to make sure his players knew that after they came up just short at the 2014 Little League World Series.
Belisle did his best to comfort his players after a tough one-run loss to Illinois on Monday night. The kids gave it their all, so even though they had been eliminated, the coach wanted them to know just how special this journey had been.
Belisle did a great job of pulling his team together after a heartbreaking loss. The kids were certainly disappointed, but their coach's words had to have helped them handle the loss.
