Coke Jumps on the ALS Ice-Bucket Challenge

It might be time to throw some cold water on this thing.


Coca-Cola™ senior vice president of integrated marketing Wendy Clark has done an ALS ice-bucket challenge, complete with Coca-Cola™ polar bear and Coca-Cola™ towel. Actual Coca-Cola™ does not make an appearance.



Clark does not say who challenged her, but goes on to name marketing execs at series of other major consumer companies and encouraged donations.



There is no denying that the #IceBucketChallenge has done plenty of good, raising awareness of ALS — a particularly debilitating nerve disease commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease — as well as $7.6 million for the ALS Association. Read more...
