Below is a very different and personal way to think about them. This cool non-traditional program creates what are basically coupons for poor women that allow them to financially access reproductive health care services they need but would otherwise never be able to afford.

This program comes from the Population Council with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The actual infographic was created by the Gobee Group. Right now the vouchers are being evaluated in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Bangladesh, and Cambodia, and it’s a super-exciting approach to solving a big problem.
