The last thing fans of the Green Bay Packers want in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft is a shocking pick. These picks often carry a negative connotation with them.
However, that certainly isn't always the case with shocking picks. For example, no one expected the Seattle Seahawks to draft Bruce Irvin in the first round two years ago, but he's developed into a quality player. The same is true for center Travis Frederick and the Dallas Cowboys last year.
So, even though the following five players would be shocking picks for the Packers, not all of them would necessarily be bad choices. Let's take a look a some of these picks, why the Packers would potentially take them and whether or not they'd fit in Green Bay.
