A Beautifully Refreshing Perspective On Failure

This is the most compelling TED talk I’ve ever seen. In it, Alok (who uses “they/them/their” pronouns) talks about the moral hypocrisy of success, the competitive professionalization of social change, and a refreshing perspective on failure. My words can’t do it justice, but it’s some powerful real talk. Warning: You’re going to want to watch this more than once. Now excuse me while I go rethink my life choices.

This speech was delivered at TEDxMiddlebury, an independently organized TED event. Alok is one-half of a kick-ass spoken word duo called DarkMatter. Show them some love on Facebook and Twitter.
