After being called out and challenged by Triple H, Sting responded emphatically during Monday night's edition of Raw.
Early on in the night, Triple H demanded that Sting accept his ultimatum to appear at Fastlane:
Sting played a little bit of mind games with the former WWE champion and left little doubt as to his intentions:
The segment itself was very well done and did a good job of building up anticipation for Triple H and Sting's eventual clash without having the two get physical:
Many fans will be disappointed that the two won't be wrestling at Fastlane, but the company would be foolish to have that happen before WrestleMania. If executed well, a face-to-face confrontation between Sting and Triple H could be just as compelling as an actual match.
The angle between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho at SummerSlam 2008 proved you can build plenty of heat without two wrestlers exchanging blows.
Plus, the confrontation might finally reveal why Sting debuted and interfered at Survivor Series and what exactly his end game is.
