Norway musicians play instruments made of ice

In the Norwegian village of Geilo, locals and aficionados gather for the annual Ice Music Festival. The musicians are mostly Scandinavian and perform using instruments made of ice including wind instruments, string and percussion



Norwegian composer and percussionist Terje Isungset came up with the idea for the festival after he was asked to perform inside of a frozen waterfall in 2000.
