Dead air during Uber rides may soon be no more, as the car service will allow passengers to stream Spotify through cab speakers during trips, according to a new report.
Uber is integrating Spotify, the music-streaming application, into its service by enabling passengers to connect their mobile devices to the company's car stereos; this means they will be able to stream their own Spotify playlists, according to TechCrunch . Uber and Spotify will go public with their partnership some time next week, possibly as soon as Monday, according to the report.
