Carlos Vela helped David Moyes inch toward the first win of his young Real Sociedad career, netting a hat-trick against Elche to put the Scot in prime position for his first victory in charge of the Spanish side.
Vela, the Mexican star who only recently made his comeback with the national team, struck off a cleanly taken header to score the first goal of Moyes ' reign at the club.
The former Arsenal man earned his brace when catching Elche on the break and calmly sliding a low shot home.
He earned his hat-trick with a nice move inside of Elche 's 18-yard box and scored to the far post.
