Steve Spurrier will return to Gainesville for the fifth time as an opposing head coach when South Carolina travels to Florida to take on the Gators. The game will kickoff at noon EST and it will be televised on the SEC Network.
The Gamecocks come into this game looking to snap a two-game losing skid. They fell short against Auburn and lost to Tennessee in overtime. One of the reasons for the struggles of Spurrier’s group is they are last in the conference in scoring and rushing defense.
And they are facing a Florida team that has found its offense. After a 38-20 win against Georgia and a 34-10 performance against Vanderbilt, the Gators have an outside shot of winning the SEC East, but they would need Georgia to lose against Auburn and Missouri to lose its last three games.
Be sure to come back to this blog when the game kicks off for the latest scoring updates and highlights.
