Jonas Gray was the highest-scoring fantasy player last Sunday and the story coming out of Week 11. He is also the story going into Week 12, but for unfortunate reasons.
Gray might have handed his power-back role back to recently signed New England Patriot LeGarrette Blount. Blount's return to the Pats was a punch in the face for all those fantasy owners who went all-in on Gray off waivers this week.
Neither Gray nor Blount is a great play against the Detroit Lions' No. 1 run defense, but as the streaking Pats proved a year ago, their lead between-the-tackles runner can be a fantasy monster in crunch time. It might be Blount all over again.
