NEW YORK — Many residents who live in the same neighborhood as New York's first Ebola patient know their facts and say they aren't afraid of catching the virus.
"Like they said, it's only something you can get from direct contact with bodily fluids," said Ryan Carlos. "So I don't see a need to panic."
Dr. Craig Spencer tested positive for Ebola on Thursday after he was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with a high fever and nausea. Spencer returned from West Africa, where he was treating Ebola patients with Doctors Without Borders, on Oct. 17. Read more...
