Wisconsin Badgers fans and Kentucky Wildcats haters were up in arms when a pivotal no-call in the Final Four showdown went in favor of the Wildcats.
As the Wildcats held a four-point lead with less than six minutes remaining, Kentucky's Trey Lyles hit Wisconsin's Josh Gasser in the face—away from the ball. No foul was called on the floor, but the referees would go to the monitors.
Even after reviewing the play, the referees decided that the contact did not warrant a flagrant foul.
At the time, it looked like this might be a crucial no-call, but Wisconsin rallied bacfor a 71-64 victory.
