When J.R. Smith is hitting shots like this, it's easy to see that he is in the zone.
With 2.9 seconds remaining in the first half of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James was able to get the inbounds pass to Smith around half court. Smith grabbed the pass, gained some momentum and hit a buzzer-beater while falling out of bounds.
A shot like that is worth a bow:
The buzzer-beater was Smith's sixth three-pointer of the half. It also marked the second straight quarter in which the Cavaliers ended a period with a buzzer-beater.
Cleveland took a 54-45 lead into the break.
