What looked like the perfect revival of one of the most talked about series in the history of television has suffered a major snag: David Lynch will not be a part of the Twin Peaks revival on Showtime

"I love the world of Twin Peaks and wish things could have worked out differently," wrote Lynch, via Twitter on Sunday
