Wednesday night's game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers saw tempers flare near the end of the third quarter.
After Trail Blazers center Chris Kaman grabbed a rebound, the Clippers' Chris Paul was able to knock the ball loose. As Paul went for the loose ball, his left hand hit Kaman in the groin area.
Kaman, like any player would, took exception to getting hit below the belt. The Trail Blazers big man responded by delivering a hard shove to the Clippers point guard, resulting in a small skirmish.
Paul immediately went to confront Kaman, but the only thing to happen in the skirmish was a flop by the Clippers' Glen "Big Baby" Davis.
Kaman was given a flagrant-1 foul for the shove, and Paul went on to make the ensuing free throws.
Behind Paul's 41 points and 17 assists, Los Angeles rallied for a 126-122 victory.
