One-half of the semi-finals are booked for the 2015 World Darts Championship, with the round to be finalized on Friday.
The quarter-finals haven't provided any surprises so far, with the bigger names advancing. In the first match, 2014 champion Michael van Gerwen defeated Robert Thornton. Closing out the day's events, Gary Anderson knocked off Peter Wright.
Two more quarter-final matches remain as the tournament inches toward its inevitable conclusion. Fourteen-time winner Phil Taylor faces off with Vincent van der Voort, while in the other, Stephen Bunting meets Raymond van Barneveld.
