390-pound offensive lineman scores brilliant touchdown

It was a memorable moment in what turned out to be a dismal finish for the Baylor University Bears at the Cotton Bowl Classic in Texas, Thursday


The Michigan State Spartans could only watch in shock as the 6-foot-7, 390-pound offensive guard LaQuan McGowan took a touchdown pass from the 19-yard line before celebrating with a chest-bump to receiver Antwan Goodley



The giant of a man's slick moves left commentators laughing: "Even if you did catch him, how are you going to get him on the ground?"


In the end, McGowan's brilliant play was overshadowed by a one-point loss. In the highest-scoring Cotton Bowl in history, Michigan State won the game 42-41 with a fourth-quarter comeback. Read more...
