High Schooler Nails Half-Court Buzzer-Beater to Win Basketball Game

Sophomore Scotty Thompson just became a hero at Rockhurst High School.

During the team's junior varsity game against Shawnee Mission East High School, Thompson threw up a prayer from half court, drilling the game-winning buzzer-beater. The fans certainly enjoyed it, rushing the court after the big shot.

The varsity game had a lot to live up to after that.
