In yet another story about humanity's questionable use of technology and its impact on nature, a tourist at Yellowstone National Park crashed a drone into the area's largest hot spring on Wednesday.

The accident has raised concerns that the drone could sink to the bottom of the spring and cause damage to it, according to a Reuters report. Park spokesperson Al Nash told Reuters that discussion is underway to determine whether the drone, which had been equipped with a camera to photograph the park, is a threat to the spring and how they should go about removing it, if that decision were made.
