The Easter Island in Chile has a triangle shape, area of 163.6 square kilometers and a population of 3791 people. 3304 of those live in the capital city of Hanga Roa. It is the most popular for the many monumental statues, called moai. These heads can be found on the coast of the island. In 1988 the whole island is listed as UNESCO natural heritage.
