It seems like Once Upon a Time is dead set on bringing back characters from the ashes this season, and on Sunday, that honor went to August Booth

Although the scruffy, motorcycle-riding character didn't fully die — he was brought back to life as his 7-year-old self, Pinocchio — August was seemingly gone for good after Tamara killed him in Season 2. But in Sunday's episode, "Enter the Dragon," he was transformed to his older self by Rumplestiltskin after the Dark One got his dagger back.
