With the Kentucky Wildcats and Arkansas Razorbacks sitting comfortably atop the conference, the LSU Tigers men's basketball program is among four teams fighting for a No. 3 or No. 4 seed in the SEC tournament as the regular-season schedule wraps up Saturday.
The Tigers tip off against the No. 18 Razorbacks in Bud Walton Arena at 2 p.m. ET in a game that could influence not only their conference-tournament seeding but also their chances for an NCAA tournament bid.
The Ole Miss Rebels and Texas A&M Aggies are tied at 11-6, one game ahead of LSU and the Georgia Bulldogs. All four teams play today.
Depending on how the other games shake out, if LSU can pull off the win at Arkansas, the Tigers could clinch third or fourth place in the conference—meaning they would skip directly to the third round of the SEC tournament.
This will be the first time LSU and Arkansas meet this season.
