Flight delayed for two hours after prosthetic finger causes scare

A flight to Singapore was delayed for two hours on Thursday, after flight attendants thought they saw a severed finger on the plane.


Crew on the Tigerair flight, departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia, called airport security upon the discovery. As it turned out, however, the finger was not severed — but a prosthetic.



"The flight was delayed as airport authorities carried out checks when a prosthetic finger was discovered on board during a routine transit cabin inspection," a Tigerair spokesperson told Mashable on Saturday Read more...
