Oregon 59, Cal 41—Final
Mark Helfrich guided No. 6 Oregon past Cal Friday night, turning in a dominant offensive performance in a 59-41 victory in Levi’s Stadium.
Marcus Mariota built on his budding Heisman Trophy campaign, completing 60 percent of his passes for 326 yards and five touchdowns. He did throw his first interception of the year in the second quarter, but that was the lone blemish in an otherwise brilliant performance.
Cal had success on offense as well. Jared Goff threw for 360 yards and the Golden Bears piled up 560 total yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Ducks.
We watched the action and provided live analysis all evening.
