Charles Bridge is one of the most recognizable symbols of Prague, the Czech capital and former capital of Bohemia. This bridge is the first association for the city and every traveller ever had the opportunity to step on a stone crossing through the Vltava. Historically famous stone bridge began to build in 1357, on order of the King of Bohemia Charles IV who only succeeded to become Roman Emperor. The construction of that extremely important bridge was completed at the beginning of 15th century.
