Street artist retools anti-Islam ads with Marvel superhero

A street artist has enlisted the help of Ms. Marvel to rid San Francisco's buses of Islamophobia.


Ads on the city's mass transit that compare Islam to Nazism have been plastered over with pictures of Kamala Khan — Marvel's first-ever major Muslim superhero.


The controversial ads were paid for by blogger Pamela Geller's American Freedom Defense Initiative. Despite widespread public backlash, San Francisco's Municipal Transit Authority said they have no choice but to run them.



The banners featured a photo of Hitler with Muslim leader and Zionism opponent Haj Amin al-Husseini and the words: "Islamic Jew-Hatred: It’s In The Quran." Read more...
