An ankle injury knocked Enes Kanter out of the Utah Jazz's clash with the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.
Jody Genessy of Deseret News in Salt Lake City reported that the 22-year-old big man wouldn't return:
Kanter's in the midst of a career year, averaging 14 points and 7.3 rebounds a game entering Friday. He's second on the Jazz in boards and third in scoring.
His injury comes at the worst time for Utah. The team will already be without Alec Burks for the rest of the season. Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski and Jazz radio play-by-play announcer David Locke reported that Rodney Hood and Patrick Christopher will be looking at lengthy absences as well:

Although nobody expects much out of Utah this season, it's always concerning when so many players are going down with injuries.
Plus, the Jazz will want to get Kanter back sooner rather than later so he can get back to developing his game.
