'I don’t know if France ever knew such a day': French journalist on Paris attack

In a matter of minutes on Wednesday, a regular working day for Parisians turned into a nightmare, after a brutal attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo left 12 dead


Journalists descended on the scene of the shooting in the immediate aftermath. The first to arrive described moments of confusion, as the reality of the attack emerged.
