Diamond Dallas Page was one of the surprise entrants at the 2015 Royal Rumble.
The former WCW champion was the 14th entrant in the Royal Rumble match:
After unleashing a few Diamond Cutters on some of the superstars in the ring, DDP was dumped out of the ring by Rusev.
Many fans were happy to see DDP back in WWE, especially given how little he's wrestled over the past few years. ESPN.com's Dan Szymborski, however, wondered if his appearance was more indicative of the company's inability to build younger stars:
The Rumble match is always good for some nostalgia. Each year, WWE brings back two or three names from the past for one night only. Bubba Ray Dudley and The Boogeyman were among this year's crop.
While DDP might appear at the occasional Raw in the coming months, he's unlikely to become a fixture on WWE programming after Sunday night.
