Don't tell these two teams there's nothing for them to play for here in Week 16.
Neither the New York Giants (5-9) nor the St. Louis Rams (6-8) will participate in the 2014 playoffs, but both franchises have found late-season success. The Giants are riding a two-game winning streak; the Rams recently had a two-game stretch of their own snapped in a close loss to the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals.
That's not bad for a couple ballclubs written off by most in early November.
