During tough times, NFL teams show that there is more to life than football.
A couple of weeks ago, Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry was placed on the non-football illness list—ending his season—after it was discovered that he had a mass in his chest. The Chiefs honored their teammate by wearing special shirts before last week's game against the Denver Broncos, which was the first game after the news about Berry broke.
On Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals showed their support for the Chiefs player before the two teams met on the field.

It doesn't matter that the Chiefs and Cardinals will be on opposite sidelines during the game. They are each part of the NFL family.
