Tension is mounting between the community of Savannah, Georgia, and local law enforcement on Thursday, after an officer-involved shooting left one man dead. His body reportedly remained in the street for hours.

The shooting took place around 11 a.m, local time, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and an angry crowd has since gathered in the surrounding area

Julian Miller, a spokesperson for the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department, declined to comment on the incident for now.
