NBC News announced on Thursday that anchor and managing editor Brian Williams traveled to Moscow this week for an exclusive in-depth interview with former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

The network announced the interview on Twitter, and included an awkward picture of Snowden posed in a chair with his hand resting on his chin. The Internet took note of the cringe-worthy photo and a beautiful new meme was born.
