The days are getting shorter, the air is getting crisper and baseball's finally over. This can only mean one thing (Dick Vitale voice): It's almost college hoops time, baby!

We're at a bit of an impasse, however. The Associated Press' much-anticipated pre-season top 25 is already out and teams are practicing hard, but most don't play any meaningful ball for about another week. So what's a body to do? Make their own top 25, of course — because you can never have enough college hoops cogitation
