Chase Coffman Fined $30K for Sideline Hit on Ravens Assistant

Tennessee Titans tight end Chase Coffman has been fined $30,000 by the NFL for hitting a Baltimore Ravens assistant coach on the sideline during Week 10.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer provided the exclusive video footage, which the network aired Sunday:

Glazer felt the fine was not an adequate penalty:

Coffman, 28, backs up Titans star Delanie Walker and has recorded just two receptions this season. On the telecast, Glazer reported that Tennessee coach Ken Whisenhunt told Baltimore boss John Harbaugh that Coffman's hit wasn't intentional.

Coffman has just a one-year contract worth $730,000 (h/t Spotrac.com), so the amount he has to pay is a rather sizable portion of his season paycheck.
