Argentina vs. Croatia: Live Score, Highlights from International Friendly

The World Cup seems like an age ago now, but for Argentina the wounds inflicted by the defeat to Germany in Rio will still be very raw.

In three post-tournament friendlies, they've managed to beat the Germans, lose to Brazil and put seven goals past Hong Kong, with this latest stopping-off point taking them to West Ham United's Upton Park to face a Croatia side who've started Euro 2016 qualifying pretty well.

Three games, three wins and no goals conceded can't really be bettered, although the likes of Luka Modric , Mario Mandzukic and Dejan Lovren are set to be rested for this clash with an Argentina squad which features Juventus ' Carlos Tevez for the first time in over three years, as well as their usual star names.

One of those names is, of course, Lionel Messi , and the crowd in east London will be excited to see one of the greatest players to ever play the game on their turf on Wednesday evening—with Tevez and Javier Mascherano's return to their old stomping ground another interesting element to add to this friendly.

It should be a good watch, then, and I'll be back from around 7 p.m. GMT/2 p.m. ET to build up to the clash. We'll then have live commentary and highlights.

See you back here then.
