A Kid Pretends To Be Obama — It's Hilarious. The Message? Not So Much.

Sometimes it takes a group of kids to show us where adults are going horribly wrong. But while you're giggling at the eight kids in this video, remember: They've just taken an issue we often make way too complicated and delivered it straight to us on a silver platter. Now if only we could get our big world leaders to follow suit...

FACT CHECK TIME! We're totally on board with the overall message of this vid, but there are a couple of things we want to clarify:

  • The latest United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization report indicates that closer to 1 in 9 people in the world are chronically undernourished. Yay progress!

  • The G8 became the G7 in March 2014 when Russia was excluded from the group. Different number, same idea.

This cute little video was created by the IF campaign (Enough Food for Everyone IF), which ended in October 2013 after nine months of hard work and incredible activity. The end of that campaign, of course, does not mean the issue of world hunger has been solved.
