Tony Stewart's NASCAR Season Fading Fast: He's Skipping Bristol, Too

Tony Stewart hasn't been back on the race track since his Sprint car struck and killed a fellow driver earlier this month, and at this rate it's looking like the three-time NASCAR champion's "comeback" season may be over.


Stewart is skipping the Saturday night race at Bristol Motor Speedway, making the short Tennessee oval the fourth race — and the third Sprint Cup event — he's missed since the death of Kevin Ward Jr

The team he co-owns, Stewart-Haas Racing, said he's taking it week-by-week, but with only two races left, it's increasingly likely that the driver they call "Smoke" won't be behind the wheel until at least next year. Read more...
