Benedict Cumberbatch has already loaned his voice to many a fantastic creature in his still-young acting career — a dragon, a wolf, Alan Rickman — and now he'll add malevolent tiger to his little menagerie.
Cumberbatch has signed on to voice the villainous Shere Khan in Warner Bros.' Jungle Book: Origins, as The Hollywood Reporter first reported Tuesday. It's the first voice lead that motion-capture guru Andy Serkis has cast for his directorial debut, scheduled for release Oct. 21, 2016.
