It's fight night, and you can catch all the live action from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, right here on Saturday night.
In our main event, unified junior welterweight champion Danny "Swift" Garcia takes on heavy underdog Rod Salka in a special 10-round attraction.
Garcia (28-0, 16 KO) made a name for himself by stunning Amir Khan to unify the 140-pound title in 2012. He successfully defended it against a trio of dangerous foes—Erik Morales, Zab Judah and Lucas Matthysse—before struggling to a disputed decision over Mauricio Herrera in March.
The fight, a homecoming to Garcia's ancestral homeland, went anything but according to plan. The champion struggled against the awkward Herrera and was fortunate to escape with his titles. This bout has been widely panned by the boxing media and fans, but you can never say never in this sport.
Salka (19-3, 3 KO) was originally scheduled to fight for Garcia's titles, but the sanctioning bodies, who don't even have him in their rankings, refused to approve the bout. Even so, he has the opportunity of a lifetime on a big stage to make a name for himself by upsetting the champion.
Our live coverage will begin at 9 p.m. ET.
You can watch live on Showtime.
