Vacation in Indonesia is truly unforgettable. Seductive taste of exotic spices, wild atmosphere, vivid color and beautiful scenery make Indonesia an ideal destination for a perfect holiday. The country offers rare natural beauty. Indonesia is clearly divided into rural and urban areas, the towns that are in a constant state of change and development. Cities are a fine blend of high urban density, modern construction and development of technology with the traditional way of life. Much of the archipelago is still unexplored, so that Indonesia still offers visitors the opportunity to explore the unspoiled land and discovering the natural secrets, hidden on the islands. In other words, we recommended visiting Ubud.
Ubud is a place rich with color, light, richness of plants, flowers, palm trees and rice fields. It is certainly one of the reasons why the locals there are consistently enthusiastic, hospitable and above all creative artists.
Ubud is located in the center of the island of Bali. It is known as the center of arts, skills, dance and music, more than a century. From former city which gathered bohemians and travelers, Ubud has developed in a city known for its elegant resorts, galleries and huge houses of experts of art. Ubud has something to see and do. Ubud is surrounded with traditional landscapes by which it is known the whole island, including rice fields, charming villages, communities of artists and artisans, ancient temples, palaces, rivers.
There you can find the friendliest people. In the southern part of the city, there is reserve called the “Monkey Forest”. There live monkeys that keep playing on the trees and the temple. At every step you can buy bananas and feed the monkeys. Behind this reserve is one of the many craft villages which is specialized in carving wood. Museum Puri Lukisan or Museum of Beautiful Arts owns a large collection of traditional and modern art of Bali. The carved works there are extremely fantastic.
