Just about nothing went right for Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer and his team on Sunday, as they fell 114-95 to Budenholzer's former mentor, Gregg Popovich, and the visiting San Antonio Spurs.
The former Spurs assistant also earned two technical fouls for arguing with the officials and was ejected for arguing with the officials during the Hawks' third straight loss.
Kawhi Leonard was everywhere for San Antonio, posting 20 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals in the win. Spurs center Tiago Splitter led all players with 23 points, a season-high for the Brazilian.
