It's time to get the band back together.
After a few years of hiatus, Harmonix announced Thursday morning it will bring the next iteration of its popular music-making franchise, Rock Band 4, to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by the end of the year.
Rock Band 4 will bring some improvements to the franchise, Harmonix Project Director Daniel Sussman said, but will maintain many of the elements fans love. While Sussman said Harmonix was waiting to reveal details down the line, he did offer some insight on the new game.
