PlayStation 4 arrives in China with slim pickings for games

The Chinese game-console market broadened Friday, after Sony's PlayStation 4 went on sale, but a limited selection of games could stifle its growth.


The PS4 is the second video-game console to be sold in China, after a 14-year ban on foreign consoles was lifted in January 2014. The Xbox One first went on sale in September of the same year.



However, due to restrictions on game content in China, the PS4 only launched with a slim lineup of six offerings: Knack, Age of Wushu, Rayman Legends, Dynasty Warriors 8, Trials Fusion and Mr Pumpkin's Adventure.
