New Netflix drama ‘Bloodline’ is perfect beach binge-watching

Within the first five minutes of Netflix’s new series Bloodline, which appeared in our queues this morning, we’re treated to pelicans, jumping dolphins, muddy swamps, rolling storms, sandy beaches, and enough linen to keep a family of four feeling casual chic for 10 years.

It’s hard to overstate just how much the state of Florida plays into every aspect of this show, from the camera bobbing with the waves as brothers speak on a speedboat to the place-specific issue of alligators picking off pet cats to the fact that almost every sweat-slicked shot takes place outdoors.
