Grenoble innovation: How shared mobility can stop traffic congestion

When you think of Grenoble, tucked up against the foot of the Alps in southeastern France, you may well already think of science and innovative technology. You'd be right to do so: the city forged ahead on smart alternatives such as hydropower early in the game, and Grenoble is now the kind of scientific center that produces new ideas on the order of 6.23 patent applications per 10,000 residents regularly.


Now, its leaders are innovating again
