Amazon just made its Fire TV set-top box much more competitive with players like Roku and Apple

HBO Go is finally available to Amazon Fire TV users, the companies announced Monday. The service is currently available to most cable subscribers on Apple TV, Chromecast and Roku set-top boxes (though notably, Comcast has blocked access to HBO Go on the Roku)
